A tool intended to separate the participant from the real world and its noise. Ironically, You are the Spectacle doesn’t do that. Participating in this site specific piece isolates and places you at the center of attention in Orange Coast College's outdoor theater. As you enter the sculpture, you are visually submerged in the Spectacle. You become a part of the sculpture as well as the center of attention. Any interaction with this tool becomes part of the noise.
