Metal & Nails
Sanctuary for the Forgotten Shape explores the fragile boundary between support and suffocation. At its core, it represents mutual dependence and the connections meant to stabilize. In contrast it also shows how those same connections can slowly deteriorate and harden into structures that confine. Each nail points in its own direction but is ultimately locked in place: held together, immobilized.
